Hmm damn I wrote that like I have read it before...

 

One thing that make me laugh, one month ago when I firstly (yeah, i was the first to buy from him and give him iTrader.. (EVERYBODY SAY; SHAME ON BARONS)...) was on msn with him, he told me he had 22 year old (or something), that he is totally new with owning a server (he had a vps or dedicated, i don’t know b4). That he had 0 experience but he will learn each day. I remember he told me he had only 1 server, maybe a few. but anyway. That conversation should have put me in alert, but anyway, 15$ wasn't that much for a try.

But now I realise how much I lost. Not only in pure cash, but in traffics. My traffic dramatically decrease for 2 websites, (I talk about 150 daily), my adsence revenue drop like if it were new website. I lost my files, database that took me about a week to setup, (at least I didn't finish). Well, now I am with a new host that will probably will ban me for ToS in a month, but anyway, I learn something, I WILL NEVER BUY A YEAR OF HOSTING A THE SAME TIME, even if its 1$ per year.

Now that both of my websites are in a cemetery, my files in paradises and my dispute filled, I just wish that you guys will have the 15$ back, and I wish myself to have it back too, even if it's only 15$, I just don't want Edward to keep it, I prefer having it back and giving to a charity center.

Also, please moderators don't close this topic for 3 reasons. First, and the most important one, if someone want to buy a hosting unlimited etc, he will see this topic and learn that it is not possible or possible but very risky. Second, the reputation of Edward will never be the same with this topic. And last, Paypal supervisors will need this topic as a proof.

Finally, I have a little word for those one offering free hosting, thanks a lot, some really need it. But it's a great marketing idea... :0 (good job)...

I understand your being emotional Baron, I feel your pain. Good thing I haven't transferred my websites to this account or I would've suffered as much. 15$ isn't really big, he should've just said he needs money for some things or should have cared to explain what is happening.

Yeah man, I find it kind of you for giving away temp hosting, but there is a bit of marketing in that , even if it wasn't your first priority.

BTW: I am not that emotional, I am just learning of my mistake and taking that "course" with philosophy. I'm still young you know

 

I set up 3 free accounts 400mb of space and 1,024 gb or bandwidth... I have been there we had a server crash and had pissed off clients... My first priority has always been my clients,, If I loose sales because my website is down I DONT CARE.. My clients trust me and beleive in me and I know and and understand the pain that it causes.... I never made a cent.. We have 4 severs and space to help... .. If MY NAME gets seen 4 more times by doing this then I guess , you can say it was a marketing ploy... Not intentional.. I just want this thread to know there are MORE good host on DP then bad and we are one of the good ones.

So paypal closed my dispute and didn't refund any of the money... Anyone else..?

 

I'm afraid that will happen in all of these disputes as PayPal doesn't support refunds for virtual goods

Yea thats what they said... That makes me pretty angry. So basically we can't trust ANY hosting company if they accepts paypal since hosting is a virtual item. Paypal pretty much sucks... I've had an issue with them before, they are the worst. But everyone uses them so I have no choice. Now i must go search for another cheap Master Reseller hosting that wont bail on me.

 

Go for IwhiC or Cameron. I already escalated the claim, how many days did it last until it got closed?
