Netscape is finally put to rest :(

    Sadly, the end of an era for netscape. The browser stood up in challenging microsoft in early 2000's had come to an end. :(

    Although its a sad end, its nice to see firefox as its successor :)

    I used it since it was beta, great software during its times and had given birth to a greater software Firefox, it has more or less fulfill its role.... RIP.....

    yeah! i have been using internet since 10yrs and i remember using netscape number of times! great browser.

    Wow... finally its gone. This is the first web browser that I use back in 1997. I already hate IE that time. :D

    i used it when i had dialup back in the 90's... when i was little i would go WOOOWWW internet!.. using firefox 3 beta 4 right now.... firefox will live on...

    i think we all love to hate IE.. ;)

    I used it a lot between 1999 and 2001, it was quite nice actually. Too bad it didn't keep up with the evolution of browsers so it is a good thing that it retires with dignity.
