I am confused about the main difference about business and premier acocunt.
Because paypal is asking me to upgrade to business account, what are the main differences between them, i mean like fees, i have gone through paypal site but wasn't satisfied so decided to post here, for some practical experienced feelings.
Please if some one can explain them in details.Or some one using a business account, and has also used premier account.
    Thanks

    Regards:
    SAM

If you process payments more than $10k+ use business account. Anything less than $10k use premier account. Further the withdrawal limits are high for business accounts.

Premier account is for individual, who is using the account for commercial purpose (selling).

Business account allows you to do business under a company or group name.
Do not open a business account if you are not a registered company. They may ask for some documents.
    *Multi-user access.

    Fees.

Depending on what type of business you conduct determines the need for a business account or not. They have the same basic fees and "formalities".

I think i've ended up with a business rather than personal account. Does this really increase the fee when recieving money from Get Paid To and Paid Survey sites, etc? Can they change my account standing?

    For fees, check out https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/helpscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside

Basically, no annual or monthly fees for any paypal account and for premier or business accounts, you only pay when you have income money. If you do not earn anything through paypal, you pay nothing.

Both Premier and Business accounts have exactly the same fees. The only thing is that the premier account is for a person or individual while the business account is for a registered company or registered business.

I have business account and I have been using it since last 4 years.

If you are paying up your taxes on regular basis as a company then the documents related to it can do.

I am not much interested in personal or premier. Business account has costs but the benefits in a long run are much more.

I recently also won a chargeback case. I had just forgot about it but after 3 months or so. Paypal emailed me and said that they have won the case in my favor and the funds have been deposited into my account. :)

Simple and smooth paypal practices will never create any problems.
