PR does not mean much these days when selling a site, it would depend mostly on revenue because your PR could be (and likely) will be gone at some point soon.

I don't know of any PR4 directory being sold for millions of $$$$ -- but yes Business.com was sold for $350 million few months back.:D

Impossible to say. PR4 and getting 200 UV daily or PR4 and getting 4,000 UV daily? The quality of traffic, source of traffic, etc, all should be considered.

LOL. No. I want to get away from the Internet. Tired of sitting in front of a computer 12 hours a day.

    Freedom! :)

The price depends on the amount of backlinks the site has as
well as the amount of traffic it receives.

    Also depends on the revenue.

I got a PR3 bidding directory which earns like $250 or so per month. PR3, but earning. So PR is not even close to one of the most important factors.

    I judge this way:

    1) Revenue
    2) SERP's
    3) Backlink number & quality
    4) Traffic (targeted)
    5) PR
    6) Design

Btw, matik, can we know the URL of the directory you sold for $3,8k? Thanks.

yes the pr4 its one factor there are many others like rezo well explained
The price also is calculated on how much time and money have u spend on it
But i wouldnt sell mine for at least the price matik sell his own.;)

Could be wroth anywhere between $500 to whatever because there is a lot more then just pr that needs to looked at before giving it a price. If pr was 0 and it was making $500 a month then it would be worth a lot even though it has got a low pr.

It was PR4, with all PR3 inner categories, alexa under 200k and around $400 of profit per month

We're going around in circles here; the hard fact is an item whatever it is from a house to a directory is only worth what someone will pay for it.
