I place Shopping ads on my site and earn nil....just a few clicks on the ads...very low CTR and no actual buys according to their reporting....

I put Adsense on, and at least, I earn a few cents there...

So which is better, you think?

But then, ShoppingAds/AuctionAds needs maybe more time to improve their bad targetting.....and their reputation.

Who knows, they may get better after all.

 

I guess it all depends on the nature of your website, if your websites' visitors are looking for a product, then you will automatically get a high CTR.
Think about your visitors and how they think and what they want. Then you will figure out what types of ads will work.

 

Hey anyone out there used the URL converter to make their own custom banner? I have just tried this but I arent seeing any stats yet and I am wondering if I did something wrong.

 

Anyone seeing earnings for the last 3 to 5 days. I was constantly making some good money but suddenly i still see my clicks but earnings are at 0 (which is pretty weird).

 

That happens about once a month. They'll fix it eventually... though keep us posted for them updating the days gone past.

 

Same here.. It all turned to shit recently for some reason.. Not sure if it is me or what.

There is literally NO product showing... I guess that CJ/eBay loss is to blame for that. Anyone recommend something else?

 

I have 99% given up on ShoppingAds for the moment. They need to fix all those base issues like ads not showing, wrong ads, weird stats...etc.

I'm still having problems. Earnings dropped to nearly zero lately and i'm pretty sure it's the reporting that's gone wrong.

BTW isn't shoppingads workign with c.j.? ebay is leaving c.j. so i'm wondering if shoppingads is getting their data from c.j. then what are they going to do after may 1st?

 

How does promoting eBay via the shopping ads site work? I know there are other secondary affiliate, i'm assuming these will close with the new ebay affiliate program however? Thanks.

They are not dead.

They will continue even after ebay leaves C.J.
Also the reporting is delayed due to the ebay changes.

How do I know this? I mailed them yesterday and got a reply after 30mins.

So i'll continue to ride them and I hope they have their reporting fixed when it's time to pay on the 4th. I hate not knowing how much you get paid for your efforts.

 

I'd say it is pretty much dead... All they are displaying are amazon products.. Who wants a cut of 3.45%?

I second the vote. Actually, I bailed this one a while ago and replaced it with WidgetBucks but that's pretty much crap as well. I think I'm going to replace that with PepperJam.

They aren't dead, i got paid.
But their reporting sucks biiiggg time. Again i'm not seeing any earnings since the start of april...

 

The whole eBay affiliate thing is quite screwed up. Firstly, they want to limit affiliates to US, now, in the new EPN, even US guys get declined....I think they found out that fraud can occur anywhere in the world.
