Blogger or Squidoo?

I want to start making pages promoting affiliate products. Which is better to use and why?

Squidoo is better for individual pages. Blogger is better for a blog. This is because of the way the sites handle the pages (individually verses as a blog)

 

Squidoo.
as they give you an www.squidoo.com/yourkeyword
its easy to get organic traffic, cause its as if you were a page of squidoo.


blogger:
yourkeyword.blogspot.com
its harder to get organic traffic.

 

For me, Blogger.. You can do lot of things in blogger.. Blogger is some sort of training grounds for SEOs. .hehe

 

Promoting an affiliate product does not require a whole website or blog! Thus, the squidoo platform would be way better for you to use.

I've used Squidoo with some success.

To be honest, I've been a bit nervous about blogging, but several of my colleagues have had tremendous success with it.

 

I am using Blogger's Blog for blogging purpose and enjoying with it but will surely make my lens on squidoo very soon!!!

 

I'd be going for Squidoo. Especially if it's a one off article. Or if you have more, then just claim different lens names.

 

It also depends on what you're looking to do in the long run... if you start with Blogger, more than likely in the future, you'll want to switch over to Wordpress... so it looks like you might be favoring Squidoo...

 

How about using both Squidoo and Blogger? With Squidoo, you can put up your page and kind of forget it. With Blogger it really needs to be updated regularly. Both are excellent ways to bring traffic to your site.

 

I use both. They both drives traffic and since the are crawled by SEs often because of fresh contents.

 

I would like to work with blogger rather than squidoo. It is easy to modify more with blogger. Also we can make some tweaks with blogger to get high SERP.

 

Psh. Blogger blogs climb to the top of the search engines. Blogger is made by Google...So what do you think will be most google friendly?

 

Why not do both? Both are very easy to set up and link one to the other and vice versa.

 

I'd vote for Squidoo. With Blogger, I think people are more looking for actual content instead of affiliate promotions. Squidoo is better suited to selling products on a single page.

 

When you do blogger be sure to take advantage of their meta tag option. Each tag brings new hits and you can do UNLIMITED tags on each post on wordpress.

No need to ping. Wordpress does it for you automatically.

 

better do squidoo you will get more visitors there plus once it becomes popular its great

blogger is also lots of posting about same content

How long does it normally take for squidoo lenses to get indexed? I have digged it and put it on my sig.
