YES. It is possible. Stop asking this kind of stupid questions. Everything is possible if you really to want to achieve it and putting effort into something.

    I agree with bl4ckmaN^.
Want to know if it's possible? Do it. Write articles. Post on a blog. Do whatever you find necessary for article marketing. I am sure that will answer your questions.
You learn by doing, not by asking.
    Good luck,

Just what I like to see - someone that is supportive!

Anyway affiliatenewbie, test the water. Some friends of mine put up a squidoo lens at http://www.squidoo.com/feminizationhypnosis. Then they used the following article directories to get traffic to their lens.

    http://www.hypnotherapistfinder.com/articles/
    http://ezinearticles.com/

The submitted 5 articles in total, each pushing the keywords 'feminization hypnosis' and 'hypnotic feminization'.

They also submitted the same articles to the distribution service at isnare.com

Then they bookmarked a bunch (just the ones on HF and Ezinearticles) of their articles and their squidoo lens. All this took them just hours. They did it last May (2007) and guess what... They still get a big handful of sales every single month.

Not bad for a few hours work - I think it was about four in total...

Now imagine if you did this for 1 product a day for the next month! You will get much more than the $1000 you are aiming for. And just like my friends - its pretty much set it and forget it!

    Best of luck affiliatenewbie... :D

    I double that ...:)

Also the same question has been posted 23 times this WEEK alone!!!
To be honest, if one is too lazy to research the forum before creating a new thread, I don't believe he will be able to actually "work" or writing articles...

Well, here is some inspiration folks,,,

I had gotten all my sales from nothing but article marketing
the $200 that I had made so far off of clickbank. and that was just having very few squidoo articles and ezinearticles.

Im not even at the the peak of this empire yet. I has just spent an hour everyday for the last few days submitting links to the vile silencer list, and have my article submitter finally all registered up and ready to spew out some linkable mass content.

For those who are not confident, just keep brushing up your skills! I am not at the destination of $200 a day yet, but I know if i keep my nose to the grindstone, and keep going on with the effort, it will happen!

    Hi Tom,

Thats great news... Do you mind me asking, how long it took you to get to this stage? Are we talking a few days?

i'm a newb here and i get so annoyed seeing the same ques asked over and over again (albeit different wording)... i mean this msgboard would be tons better if some of these threads would clean up...

like i mentioned in the general/suggestion forums... i really think it would help the newbs out if there was some sort of organization...

    1) sticky threads in individual forums that need to be sticked so the newbs would quit asking the same questions...

This doesn't mean that the newbs should ignoreTHE SEARCH FUNCTION

    2) I was told by the mods to report dupe threads... lolz... you realize how many dupe threads there are?

    3) There is a fine line between helping newbs and helping lazy people...

Sorry this is blunt but as a newb i am tired of seeing the same topic posted and pushing good topics further back...

    Burtie,

I was into clickbank for a few months now. There was no seriousness about clickbank until about a month ago!

I was just 'throwing' hoplinks carelessly, praying that people would click on them. I was going about it the wrong way.

About a few weeks ago, I have
    1. Built a review website, which uses SEO friendly urls, and is programmed to give optimum keywords and when written, awesome content.
    2. Submitted that website to close to a couple hundred search engine directories. Also have submitted to around 400 article sites as well. This is to build articles with deep links.
    3. 12 squidoo lenses, and 5 ezinearticles. The ezinearticles have a few hundred visits with an average CTR of 35-45%

That is what got me a few sales in the neighborhood of a few weeks. I have also placed some viral video post because the publisher created a video for uploading to sites such as you tube and google video. After time passes and google starts performing it's search engine magic, we will be able to see hopefully a nicer return.

If you are prepared to work at it you will succeed. You just need to get working then analyze your results, don't expect to make $1000 per month by next month be realistic.

I create 1 new site a week ..every week. Then promote it using articles. I've already trebled what I made last year. And the clickbank part of my business grows every 2 week period. My target from clickbank is an extra $1000 per week by the end of the year.

set yourself achievable targets .. I.e $25 per day for 3 consecutive days ... then increase that to $50

    Great advice Tommo...

It is so easy to lose motivation if you set your goals too high.

Getting a winning system and then just repeating it is a great way forward too!

Very possible in 2-3 months if you find the right niches and start writing a few articles a day. I have heard some claim that they do that and then some with just 2-3 articles.

There are some very good tips here and in other related forums that can help your reach your goals. I would suggest starting out with ezinearticles.

Thanks bl4ckmaN for the nice piece of advice. But still I would like to make the position clear here for other friends who put a lot of effort to give me feedback.

I have been a successful copywriter for more than a couple of years and do make some money in adsense also. However In affiliate marketing inspite of getting 300+ hops contineously for more than 3-4 months I have not made much. All these hops are through articles only. However i have not tried seriously ezine articles. It was out of genuine inquisitiveness i posed this question since when i spend my valuable hours it is wise to get feedback from experts. Then you may argue that 'who would share the success'. There are plenty and you can see in this thread itself. Please be modest in answering questions. We are newbies in DP and affiliate marketing , but not in life!!

I have seen some excellent articles from copywriters. I have also seen the lack of click throughs they get. Often it is for the following reasons. Competitive keywords, keyword density or poor use of the title. Sometimes the title appears to be the only mistake. That is not optimizing the title with a few target keywords. When you see a niche article receiving several hundred click throughs a day you may want to focus on writing more content articles that focus on related key phrases.

As you are a copywriter you may have an advantage over some people when it comes to writing BUT you may also be approaching things from the wrong angle.

What type of articles do you write?
Are they informative or do you try to pre-sell the product?

All clickbank products have a sales page so there is less need to pre sell in the article than if the article links straight to a product from a merchants site (i.e a laptop or TV). often sending the potential customer to a review page can work well as can writing a review of the product if it is a popular one that people will search for.

Do you target long tail keywords or just write general articles?

make sure you always target longtail keywords..i.e "how do i cure acid reflux" "rapid cure for acid reflux "This is what potential customers will type into google

What products do you try to sell? Do you target "desperate" buyers? Someone with bad heartburn is more likely to buy an acid reflux guide than someone who is thinking about getting 6 pack abs for summer.

All these things are a factor you just need to identtify where you are having problems

Thanks a lot Tommo for those wise words. I have a few points there. I have been using short key words instead of long ones .Giving examples and guiding graphically deserve appreciation. Thanks once again.
