Or community donations. Our site lives mainly on donations and some ads its been doing pretty good. You could ask your visitors to pay a small amount to access your site.

I believe they put adsense and other ad networks on their warez sites/forums/blogs.

Probably from ads, but I think many warez sites make big money through memberships. I think you could offer free content with important limitations, and offer to unlock the full potential of your website through a paid membership. Your content has to be good, though.

PM me if you want to know how to have successful subscription websites.

Having adsense on a warez site would get you banned from adsense.

Most warez sites rely on advertising sites such as clicksor or adsense. Although once those companies find out your site is for warez they will suspend your account. Most of them also rely on donations or offer services such as advertising someone's banner on their site for a certain amount of money per month.

If you mean a real warez site like a DDL site then you definately should try out the sales system. PM me for more info on earning. If you start a Warez Community (not a good idea?) then you have to use ads or earn money trough donations.

Also Google Adsense is NOT allowed on warez sites.

google does love to ban people.

I'd say warez sites earn a shitload from ads. All the ones I've ever seen, have so many sneakily placed ads and pop-ups that I would expect someone to give them 100 impressions a piece and a high CTR before they leave, confused, wondering what the hell just happened.

Also donations are probably right on. Notice how all these sites have a donate option. :)
