i know google came hard on directories recently, and it looks like getting PR4 is hard to get especially for a directory.

how much a PR4 directory worth nowadays?

price depends not only on PR, but also on backlinks, age, revenue etc..

    Around 500 to 1k.

I wouldn't say that PR is outdated but I do believe that is mainly based on rev potential.

i dont think you can value a site or directory just based on its PR. as PR is not a direct indication of how much traffic a site gets, you cannot appraise a directory based on its PR. it would be based on your traffic, age of the directory, and most importantly - revenue its currently generating.

Wouldn't be a good idea to try and price or worth a directory on pr value these days, much better going by other factors (not sitelinks either) id probably put age way ahead of most things, not age of the domain, but age since actual launch of a directory.

It can be worth anything from $300 to $50 million.

It comes down to revenue, traffic and content at the end of the day.

Yeah as stated above PR doesn't mean much anymore. I look more at traffic / current earnings when pricing out a site.
