I'm kind of relieved to see that you've posted something... But I mean its been a while and to be completely honest, the hosting sucks... I'm not really sure what to do anymore. I'm out about $16.00 and I haven't even had a solid 2 weeks of great hosting... Please keep us updated as much as you can on the host. Thanks.

I don't really care about refund or not, all I want it's my files and my database. That is my priority for now. Thanks Edward if you can fix it.

Firstly I would like HostGod to sort all of this out quickly so I can have the hosting I paid for, but if not, I want a refund if I can get one, My sites have suffered really badly because if this. You should be entitled to a refund. It is simply not what you paid for.

well, 15$ isn't that much. All the hour I put in that database and website, cost me about 150$ and more. And I want that back. I will be more than happy if I can get back those thing.

Are all of the problems from one server error?
Ive had issues with mysql, whm panel, internal server error and obviously currently its downtime.

Edward, do you have any kind of completion date?

Well, I sure hope it takes less than 19 days, cause that's the time PayPal will allow me to escalate into a claim.

I would settle for a partial refund if he could get us backup of our directories.

I hope at least some of you have learned your lessons.

1.) There is no unlimited, these hosts are fly by night and will disappear fast. Why host with a company who lies before you even sign up? Most of these hosts are run by children with reseller accounts with their basement as an office. So be careful.

2.) Don't believe in their money back guarantee, remember, they can disappear at any time.

3.) Don't pay for months at a time!!! That is stupid! You don't know if they will be there tomorrow, is the discount really worth it if you aren't going to get what you bought anyways?

I have been running pc-core.net for almost a year now. I have been in the IT industry for years. This stuff isn't new. Research Research Research! Look on forums like webhostingtalk.com and review sites like hostjury.com

Stay away from hosts who offer the world for a dollar!

    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear all of this has been happening. Although I am not a web host (I specialise in designing).
I am more than willing to help some people out who have lost their hosting and are in desperate need of it.
PM me if you need some.

Note: if you were on an unmetered master reseller plan, I'll be asking for a few dollars because they are so resource intensive.

& Note to HostGod/Edward: I am not trying to steal your customers in anyway nor to damage your reputation, simply to help your clients who are suffering from your outage.

    Thanks :)

Any ETA? That might be helpful

Yep, that usually happens with the exception of 1 or 2 (Take IWhic for an example)

Well, Money back guarantee's can be used in a court of law if they are needed, but this host didn't have one which was worrying

I agree, unless it's someone like DreamHost who owns the NOC and who isn't going to disappear overnight.

Please do not advertise in my thread. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

To our customers, we are still working on resolving the issues. Please be patient. Thank you.

Well, your site is down along with your server and I am trying to help out. I offered hosting for free, which means I'm not making profit off it.

If you actually had a working server then I wouldn't have to "advertise"

    Edward,

I've been fairly supportive of you but this is ridiculous. I don't think you really have the right to tell off another host until you're servers are working. I'm prepared to stick with your hosting and close any dispute if this is resolved soon and our files are intact. However, you must understand that this is more than a little bit frustrating.
