That's the best video i've ever seen. It would be in our best interest if we found a way to eventually get this on the air.

I could watch it 10 times and it'd still seem brand new.

Why did RP not use some of that "money-bomb" cash to air this on CNN?

No idea, i've never been an advocate of funding the campaign before grassroots project first though, it's the same story with the continental army and the local militias in the Revolutionary war, we've achieved more through grassroots, as we did with the militias.

For better or worse, the campaign was not and is not going to run national ads.

Jonathan Bydlak, the campaign fund raising manager recently left the campaign (on good terms) and has been on the Ron Paul Forums fielding insider questions. Suffice it to say, the campaign *tried* to target specific states rather than run a blanket campaign.

    This is kinda funny.

Btw, Dr. Paul is still going to campaign in Pennsylvania, and I believe he will speak at the National Convention if given the opportunity to do so. This article is misleading, in that he is not a *former* candidate, but then that shows you how easily the media can propagate a mistruth.

Yeah, I've seen donkeys swiping with their tails, and elephants with their ears... Just don't know what that really says for the mosquito.

I gotta say, I am against the Patriot Act at it made my skin crawl the minute I heard tell of it. Flat tax to replace the IRS? You betcha! Have no idea what your issue is with the Dept. of Ed. so I can't comment on it one way or the other. And the marijuana thing is like the gay marriage issue to me - folks are just gonna do what they want behind closed doors.

What I don't get is why no one talks about the best thing the Libertarians ever came up with - the presumption of joint PHYSICAL custody of children after parental divorce or separation. It's like they're afraid to admit their finest moment. If we don't have a familial base who gives a shit about the rest? It will never change anything.

As for Paul - there's something about him I instinctively don't trust. Kind'a like Obama... and Clinton... and McCain... Bush... Kerry....

Could it be he's an F-ING POLITICAIN???

DOE is an unconstitutional mongering of the entire education system. Local people and Local governments are better than a National Bullshit force telling every school how they should do. If you kill the upper bureaucracy and let the states handle the schools with a total public oversight of all the things that go on, you avoid the mass corruption and utter failures we have today.

    And you save money.

Also Ron Paul has never changed positions since his first term in congress, an he's now on number 10.

Ron paul seems to be one of those rare breed of politicians. He has a "feelgood" aura around him.

P.S three people in this page of the thread have animals as avatars. Nice to see everyone likes our animal friends.

Landslide in Jackson Country (Kansas City) Missouri for Ron Paul
    http://www.dailypaul.com/node/42876

    ...

Haywood County, North Carolina, Paul takes 8 out of 10 delegates based on first hand report posted at ronpaulforums.com

    ....

Also Nye County, Nevada, RP campaign took 44 out of 65 delegates to the State Convention.

    ...

There are A LOT of Ron Paul Republicans (and Ron Paul CP, LP) candidates for Congressional and Senate seats, as well as local office.

If you're interested in knowing who to vote for or support in your area, drop me a line by PM. I believe Ron Paul type people are running for everything from Dog Catcher to Governor, and beyond...

I figure we got about 30% of the way, delegate wise to making a huge impact on the GOP. Hopefully we will have a quality candidate in 2012, and can go all of the way.

Whatcom (WA State) GOP delegates favor Ron Paul
    http://www.bellinghamherald.com/256/story/354067.html

It appears that solid strategy and a well-organized grassroots campaign put Ron Paul on top of the Whatcom County Republican Party convention this weekend.

While there are no hard figures yet, County GOP Chairman Chet Dow said it appears that Paul has received the majority of delegates who will be sent to the summer state convention in Spokane. From there, delegates will be selected for the national convention.

So how did it happen when Paul had neither the most delegates from the county caucuses or primary in February?

    "One word: organization," Dow said.

There were several factors, however, Dow said. One was that people who had pledged to represent another candidate during the caucuses didn’t all show up to the county convention, changing the mix.

Then at the county convention people didn't vote for a candidate, but rather they voted for the delegate to send to the convention. Dow said some people seeking to be a delegate didn't state their candidate preference, though most did.

And the Paul campaign appears to have created a strong voting block, Dow said.

    Other strategies that paid off:

    * The convention went so long – 9 a.m. to after 11 p.m. Saturday – that Paul supporters dug in their heels, and when others began going home, they stayed and maintained their strong presence.

    * The 40th District caucus at the convention was small, and the Paul supporters were able to elect all six delegates from that area from people who supported their candidate.

Dow said he was pleased with how the convention turned out, and he was impressed with the Paul supporters.

"They're happy. They should be happy," he said. "They should be proud of what they have accomplished."

    Can you say Woooooooot!
