eCPM = price ( CPM ) per THOUSAND page impressions
IF all future clicks would have same value and CTR would remain same/similar, then you would earn that amount for total of each 1k impressions.

such short time eCPM are absolutely normal and usually result from ONE single click in the x or xx $ range within a few page impressions only.
after another 985 page impressions in the "normal range of cents, this average eCPM will drop down to a low 2 digit or a 1 digit eCPM

You must send email to adsense team, if not, you must be ready to ban your adsense account. My friend had the same and banned account (unfortunatelly he was happy that big money but he did not notify adsense team abou it...)

This is a case of invalid click / click bombing . Immediately report this activity to google .

There's no way you can possibly have a 173% CTR. You really need to email google about that. the CPM is just a calculation based upon that, and is not the primary issue, the CTR however, is.

Ouch, you really need to contact Google before they take matters into their own hands ;)

I really do not think this is at all unusual. If a few visitors click on more than 1 ad in a adsense block on a page, this does happen.

Why Not? Without knowing the nature of the site or the content or the adsense ads or what was happening on that day, I do not think it is out of the ordinary at all for a low traffic site to experience that. I see it plenty of times on my low traffic sites regularly over the past few years. If a few people click on 4 ads in an adsense block and others do not, the average will be over %100 and beyond quite easily.

Again some people like to be hysterical about everything, but really it is no biggy in my opinion... Unless of course if it happens everyday and the site owner can not find anything that can justify it.

It's very abnormal for a site which appears to have very little traffic that someone would go and click on the ad multiple times. Typically that's a flag to Google that someone may be asking someone to click links, or the site owner may be clicking it themselves. Then there is the possibility there is a bigger problem.

Which is why it's best to email google. If everything is on the up-and-up, then there probably will be no problem, but if there is a problem and you notice it and notify them, and they ban you...I think it works for your favor to say "Hey look, I notified you on XXX, and XXX happened".

Doesn't really hurt, takes a minute to send the email.

Don't show ctr and ecpm, it's against the rules! As an answer for your question I think that someone clicked in your website to get you banned

:) Do you not think that professional click fraudsters have also figured that out? Google will ban your adsense account based on their own data, regardless of what creepy email you send them.

Sending them an email is just like asking for a microscope to be put onto your site unecessarily. I know of a case of someones account being banned after the site owner contacted Google about suspicious activities on their sites.

Hey if it gives you piece of mind, contact them. But personally I would just invest in a good stats package and be prepared to give Google all the data to prove I am not guilty of any wrong doing if the time comes. But seriously 173% clickthrough on such small traffic is nothing unusual. I notice some people here get very concerned if they get 60% clickthrough on 12 clicks. Such samples are too small to be any real indicator of anything.

Sorry, looks like invalid clicks :/ Don't email them, just wait what's gonna happen. If you get similar stats every day it can be true, but I don't think that's possible.

You should email them for the record and ask them the same question. What is going on and that it seems unusual to you. Good luck.

This is definitely an invalid/click bomb assault. Do what others have advised and bring it to "G"'s attention before you have no recourse.
