I have a question, Why do you guys want to own more than one arcade sites?? I can see most of you own like 10s of arcade sites, Is it really that profitable to own one(s)???

because if you make 1$/day from single arcade you can be making 10$/day with 10 arcades while it doesn't require maintenance ;)

" ok, so if you said having one single arcade is not enough then let's say you have like 10 arcades to run, BUT How can you guaranteed all of your ten arcades make money????? "

This is the biggest problem with being a webmaster. Time Management.

More sites equals more money but you'll still need to promote them.

10 sites will not guarantee you ten times the revenue.
If you have only as much time to put into them as you did one chances are the 10 are going to make the same as one.

    Good luck with your arcades!

I agree - I have one arcade and I spend a lot of time promoting it as I have no funds at present to pay for advertising - it takes up a lot of time but every little bit helps.

The minimum is $0 per month or per year even. Lots lose money each month. Arcades are very hard to get a big return from. I once heard that there are near 100 new arcades per day. So you really have to put a lot of time into it or have a lot of money to pay someone else to do it.

I would suggest you do a lot of research on free ways to promote an arcade and their pros and cons. Which ad networks make the most for arcades. You really need to know some kind of SEO. And a BIG one is how to make your arcade different than the many thousands that you are competing against.

I make $xxx per month from my biggest arcade and spend 50-100% of it on advertising it more. I also spend like 20-40 hours per week working on it.

I'm working on several arcade sites and am focusing more on the dress up / girl games niche. My first arcade of this type just finished its first full month and so far its looking pretty good. I managed to end the first month with 92 members but...a long ways to go and my income is not yet covering advertising expenses (banner exchange traffic). I'm hoping the linking & SEO work will catch up in the next few months.

I acquired a PR4 topsite that is doing well so if you're looking for a place to submit your site to for traffic, check out http://best-arcade.net.

What banner exchanges are the best to buy traffic from?

I know funklicks is...but I never get a chance to buy any traffic there because some wise guys buy up everything the minute advertising is available.

Where else can I buy quality arcade traffic?? I already know about adtoll, they are good.

I've been using http://arcadebanners.com/ and so far they've been able to deliver pretty well. I'm getting around a 4.7% CTR on my dress up arcade so I'm happy :)

I had others offer the same that I purchased from them, but it all came in bulk at one time. Do you have ways to trickle it, say 200-300 a day on a 5,000+ unique package?

You have my interest peaked, because I know your rules are strict on the arcades you let into your service and it will be pretty good traffic.

Here's the thing........there are successful arcades out there and guess what?.............they will not tell you what you need to know so that you can be successful too. If they did.........they would be 'less' successful because you would do it too.

You won't find the answers in a forum like this either.....

You have to spend a little time to think about things.....analyze what is "really" going 'on' about how to get traffic and how to make money. Decide what success really means to you. Break the mold........think with a programmer's (hacker) mind.

Then maybe you will be successful.

Getting and arcade script that everyone else has, changing the css or html to have a different layout....putting your adsense code in and then buying advertising or traffic will get you no where.....think about it...millions of people do that........they are not successful........

Put on your thinking cap......if you can't do that.........find another less complicated niche.....just not blogs......because that niche is very similar :) .....anything that has been whored out is difficult to get into.

I agree with you, no successful Arcade owner will tell you their secret.

I have emailed plenty of arcade owners, and the only ones I have ever got a reply from are SuperGamesFree.com, ThinkArcade.com and GameFrat.com.
