well this adsens trick is only for those guys who are intrested in making money:D (mfa type site)and not truely into building up of traffic.a friend of mine has a site of this type.

his ad placements are that on the homepage he has his website logo.and on the proceeding links instead of that website logo he puts up a google ads banner with only image ads as option.so the users thinking to go to homepage click that ad!!!

for an example consider digitalpoint.com .On the homepage you gonna have that cool digitalpoint bar code type logo and then on the forum subsequent pages you have google image ad.people would click that ad wanting to go to home page and voila:eek::eek: they go to an advertiser page...

this could seriously hurt your visitors revisiting your site unless you have very good content...

    please post your views

I just took a quick browse through Google's program policies and it doesn't seem to be against any of them. It seems like a good idea but a bit misleading and Google mightn't like it as it's tricking your sites visitors.

40% CTR will rise a red flag very soon.
Are you sure your site will be OK with a human inspection?

hey dare you thats not my site!!!

i guess if you dont want such high ctr then put many more ads at irrelevant positions i.e. positions where users wouldn't be able to see them.then your ctr would average out:p:p

hey good response here!!!6views and already 4 replies.thanks guys

I'd say anything over a 10% CTR is a red flag but that is just me.

Bad user experience and likely to be a red flag to GOOG at some point. I wouldn't try it if you like earning adsense moolah.

You can get CTR above 10% following the ToS with good content and ad placement without tricking visitors that way. If enough webmasters tried this method it will soon be against ToS anyway.

yeah it's good idea and you can try it not only on mfa sites but also on normal sites. But if you would have 40 % CTR Google would probably alert you or ban you.
