Traffic,no clicks,Newbee Help Please!!!

I Have a new website, and so far this month I have managed to attract 40.000 hits, but not one click!! is this normal ? I have embedded my affiliate codes into my website.I am beginning to think that Adsense isn't a profitable proposition.

The same applies to my Amazon Affiliate program adds on my site, any help would be greatly appreciated.

put your sitel url in to your signature, and active in DP, impossible no click in a month

Hai! DP is nothing but digital point. i.e. this dp forum. Go through the FAQ / Rules located on the top of this forum to know more about what is signature link and what is the minimum number of posts required to activate your signature link etc. Once you are eligible for that, put your site in the signature link to get more number of backlinks and get noticed by other members. well r u sure 40000 dis month alexa is inaccurate but it shows u hav an alexa of 8M which is not possibl if u r getting 40k visitors a month..

 

Of course it's possible, Alexa rank doesn't mean anything.
A Scandinavian social networking site with 40K uniques/day shows up at alexa as: has a traffic rank of: No Data
.. but hey the site is just 7 years old..

 

The site seems pretty fine.. Try different ad positions.

 

What are your traffic sources? Maybe it's from social bookmarking sites, they don't convert well at all.

 

I think this is the cause: source of traffic. Have you bought the traffic from places like : "get 10,000 hits for pennies"?

 

Your traffic source may be the problem. If you are buying popup traffic from one of those guaranteed traffic site then you are waisting money and you could get banned from Adsense for that.
Where are you getting the traffic from?

 

I must echo the last three posts - it could be the quality of your traffic. Where is it from?

 

Quality of traffic, and why in the world haven't you tested it yourself. Click from a computer at the library or something. Not a bunch, just once or twice, to verify that they are getting counted. Don't make a habit of it though, as obviously google frowns on this.
