It's because they're furtively building up their post count without having to do too much work so they can build up to ripping somebody off by recommending products that they post under a different name..... or something. :D

But anyway, the huge domain sale price is actually quite exciting I think, should stop some of the talk of bubbles bursting amongst the clueless for a while if it keeps up. Plus I'm sure I have some better domains than a lot of those lame ducks in that top 20 list. For instance I have 'obey us . com', which I'm currently redirecting to another site, that I'm sure would make a great social meeting site for the world's fascist dictators, and they're loaded (literally)! :)

Ha ha, someone that feels the same way. Not to say that I've missed my chance on the emerging market in my country. :) Now it's not emergent anymore.

Reason why I did not get active on the "Internet" until 1998, even though I was "ON" by 1993 (and it's precursor around 1980). Is because domain names use to cost like $200 per year to own! And, web hosting wasn't cheap either. To own a presence on the Net was a significant investment if you did not have funds and a plan. That kind of changed around 1998 and it became an anyman (everyman?) capability. There will always be things happening that leave the rest of us kicking "why didn't we jump on board then?". Hey! Even Mr. Wowie-zowie futurist Bill Gates missed the transition to the Internet until much later!
