The people that run the hubpages are religiously banning people that are advertising clickbank products. One of my competitors got his hubpages banned coz he was advertising clickbank products. He'll most likely make other ones but his account will eventually get banned. So this is a warning to you guys out there that if youre gonna use hubpages you should use it to make a quick buck.
Hubpages and Wordpress.com both hates clickbanks. They also ban redirects to clickbank links. They shut you down when they say big traffic comes to you, that's bad. To beat both suckers, start many blogs, have many landing pages, try to promote your landing pages (sites) instead of clickbank products directly.
yeah so I noticed, I got a hib banned for promoting clickbank products and I wonder if its only a matter of time when blogger or squidoo do it.
Thats what most people use squidoo and hubpages for but I think google is catching on to that now so be careful.
Although I don't really use Hub pages, thanks for the heads up! Let's hope Squidoo doesn't do the same as I get some decent traffic from them...
Squidoo are different as far as I see as they actively encourage you to promote whatever you want - as long as it is within their terms of service and legal. The main reason is that people will actively build links into every squidoo lens they create and therefore it gains lots of fresh links everyday and the more traffic they get, the higher revenue they can receive. Just curious is Squidoo not loading for anyone today? I tried it a couple of times and it hasn't loaded yet... I just get the Problem loading page instead.
Sorry can not show you the link . As you can see they banned three of my hub pages and this was an email I got from them two days ago . Although I got banned , I did manage to make sale before they found my pages . They are not the same with squidoo but you can still use them to promote CB product. All you have to do is to follow their rules . Now instead of linking my links to the merchant site I link one to my blog and one to the merchant site . If you do that , you are not going to have trouble with them . They just don't want you to link multiple links to one site . One more thing I am not sure but I don't think you can promote adult content in their site . So guys don't even try that Squidooo IS the Bestttttttttttttt
Guys here are the rules The rules - read these carefully: * You must have no more than 1-2 links to any one domain on a page of original content * You may NOT add links to sites or offers you are promoting on copied, non-original Web content (i.e. if the copy exists already on the Web, you can't reuse it to promote your sites) * You can NOT add links to sites irrelevant to the Hub's topic * You can not include a short teaser and then "click here to learn more" - your Hub must address the topic fully by itself * You should consider adding more original content, or legitimate links to other online resources that complement this Hub's topic Here are a few examples of high-quality Hubs that are compliant with our Terms of Use: http://hubpages.com/hub/Ideas_for_Tattoos http://hubpages.com/hub/PC_Tuneup http://hubpages.com/hub/St_Regis_Bora_Bora These are not mines
one of my hubs got taken down yesterday, I would be very careful with using hubpages fron now on, it looks like they are getting tougher with their rules
These are the exact reasons I shifted to building my own pages... Wordpress bans you for aff links, Hubpages just started the same, and I have heard that Squidoo is not far... So the best bet would be starting your own sites and promoting them. Play it safe. Alex
megarudy Look, if I am writing reviews for products and posting them to Hubpages and the end of my articles I put something like "Visit www.example.com to find more reviews", what they will say for this?
I think they should allow it because you are not promoting the vendor site and you are just giving people the opportunity to read more reviews . Just remember rules number 4 Example : This site let you download all the psp movies , music and video games . blablabla , . Click here to learn more . If you do that , they will banned this page .
Guys.. whenever possible, link from hubpages(squidoo,wordpress... etc etc) to your squeeze page instead of affiliate offer!! When they are on your list, you have many changes to close affiliate sales for various offers.
I would love to see Google downgrade hubpages to PR3 or PR2 like Goarticles.com. I couldn't wait for that moment! Hubpages got some idiots are dominiating the hub. One guy I particularly don't like is a big fat old man knows nothing about FOREX but promote FOREX but hubpages loves him. He bitches everyone promotes clickbank products on their forum. This IDIOT name is: Mark+Knowles
If you got a hubpage account, do us and clickbank a favor, give this idiot (Mark+Knowles) a DOWN thumb or flag his posts! I've done mine with my 25 Hubpage accounts and pulled him down 1 point from 98 to 97.
