I dont think they are going out of business and I really hope they dont but their hosting is so unreliable. Im really dissapointed with it as I expect most of you are.
This is my first paid host and its worse than any of the free hosts Ive had.

This aint fair. I know that there was no money back guarantee, but we are not getting what we paid for, I remember something about a 99.9 or 99.8% uptime guarantee, which it clearly isnt, and we were all told that it was a Reliable server, it also clearly is not.

 

Mass dispute, anyone? Good thing I haven't used the host yet. I was just gonna try it, haha.

That is not true, but I paid for that. So that is stealing, fraud, crime etc. I didn't pay for something that don't work half of the time. I didn't pay to lose about 150$ in traffics, I didn't pay to lose all my database (hour and hour of time) and I didn't pay you to not come on msn, to not keep your server up, I didn't pay for a host that look it is situated between Isreal and Liban with bomb exploding everywhere, I didn't pay for a support forum (that is not actually on your website)..

I paid for a reliabe hosting, msn support, good uptime and secure.

I will talk about this thing with someone I know, a lawyer, and he will tell me if we can do anything about it.

Its not what I paid for. Hostgod claimed to have good uptime and msn support. It currently has neither, there must be laws agains that.

 

Well, false advertising maybe but he's in Malaysia and so I don't think there is much you can do

 

yeah but Singapour still a very very strict city. The best thing that can happen for us is that he cannot host anyone else there.

I agree. We used these servers to reroute minimal levels of traffic- maybe 1000 -1500 hits a day. This consistent downtime is ridiculous and has caused complete failure of our site.

Let's dispute this charge together. The host has promised uptime levels of 99%. Also, they promised reseller controls, which were not provided. We can say that the item was significantly different from the description.

i pretty much said it was BS a week ago.

 

All I want its to have a back up of my website + database, I did one 1 week ago, but I had worked on it yesterday about 15hours on it, but I don't want to lose that. Omg, I am nervous, i just want a back up.
