WTS: Site With Potential- $1 Start (No Reserve!)

    Our team of 8 people started on this project last month. After rethinking the idea, we decided to take a different approach to this project which will include a new domain and a completely new system. We have all agreed that selling this site will not affect our new site in any way and in doing so we can add some more money into the project's account. Here are the details:

    Created: Sat 02/23/2008
    Expires: Mon 02/23/2009
    Register: NameCheap

    Traffic/Revenue
    Traffic: unknown as we had not installed tracking
    Revenue: the site makes revenue in two ways: i) from coders submitting to the DB and ii) developers accessing the DB. See the site for more details (note: you can charge whatever you want for both of these services, the prices on the site were in the experimental stage). The amount of sales we received in the first week was considered good however to be profitable these sales would need to be increased substantially.

    The Site
    Template: simple template, information on the site (text included) will become yours upon purchase.
    Database: there is an admin login panel where you can accept/deny applicants, there is also a search feature. You may consider upgrading this feature.

    Buying Information
    Payment Type: PayPal only
    Transfer: files will be sent to an email address in a zipped package after confirmation of payment.

    Auction Information
    Starting Bid: $10
    Increases: preferably no less than $5
    Length: 4 days or as otherwise specified

    There was around 25-30 however once we decided to sell the site we refunded all the coders payments and removed there info ready for the sale.

    It would not take long to build up a substantial list if you offered free submission however then the quality of the database is reduced.
