Hello to all of you. The point is simple:

Right now i'm running 3 differents forums (all on vb script), but due time and some others problems i'm thinking about merging 2 of them into 1. I saw the Impex tool at Jelsoft's forum and seems good but i need some feedbacks about it.

Is there anyone that did this?, suggestiosn, problems, ideas about it?.

    Thanks in advance.-

Impex is the BEST tool for the job, no questions about it.

Though, before you start back up both forums (individually) just in case.

Then give it a go... the worst that should happen is you fill in something wrong and have to restore & try again.

There should be a few "tips" threads on both vB.com & vB.org concerning Impex, and you should likely check them out, as many of their replies will be from staff or others that have done what you have done.

I believe the problem you will face is the post ID associations and the time intervals of posts. As for VB I don't think you'll encounter any problems since it sorts posts by time. However if you're mergin VB and another forum (say PHPBB), then you may face some problems.
