    It is not only Turkey which banned Youtube beside Turkey Morocco has had YouTube banned too, because of videos that mock the Moroccan king as well as some pro-Western Sahara clips . An brazil had banned YouTube too.. not only Turkey

    Iran and UAE
    Morocco
    Thailand
    Turkey
    Iraq
    Brazil
    Victoria, Australia
    China and India

    I think it was just banned in state schools in Victoria, Australia.... not the whole state.

    Ok sorry,, India has not blocked Youtube just threatened to block the video sharing website; India because of a video clip mocking Gandhi

    Yep...I sure am..and I just loaded youtube...I would agree it probably schools not allowing certain sites (which I think is a good thing).

    It is certainly not blocked in Victoria, but it may be blocked by schools for all I know, some schools do implement proxies to block the "undesirable" sites. But such blocking would be more of individual institutions and definitely not the state per se.

    I dont know is it right or not but it says :
    Victoria decided to ban YouTube after a “degrading attack” on a 17-year-old girl in Melbourne was posted to the site by male students. However, a minister also said that other video sharing sites would probably be included.

    It is banned in schools, which are actually quite normal. But definitely not ban in the State.

    You tube maybe inappropriate for schools so I can understand if it's banned in
    a school, but for a country to ban you tube, it just does not make sense.
