IMO its a scam software as its not needed and is bad for your site IMO, I can have my own opinion right?
I wonder whre John is with the sale atm. Last Q&A at the sitepoint thread sale was posted on 2/27. The last Q&A at the V7N sale was as of yesterday by John. John said he has had offers. But none are hitting the mark. Would be ahpity if he doesnt hit his $500k mark. He needs a serious investor vs an individual.

You know, I once read that one of the best marketing techniques to pump up a site is to offer it up forsale with a bin that no one would pay. John may have done just that Heck i can name 10+ big time blogs including mine that linked to V7N and sent traffic his way because of the news.
That's funny. When I join there was like 100 members and the forum (don't think it was John) was begging everyone to refer a bunch of people. Now it was for sale for 1/2 a million. crazy.
Several times I have placed large site for sale at sitepoint. You get an amazing few weeks of exposure - lots of nice traffic. The long term effects are damaging though. People consider you to no longer care about a site if you've been fed up and had it placed for sale.
