Sudden increase in clicks

    Ok,

I have a blog that usually hovers around the 1% CTR mark. However yesterday it jumped to 2.5% and today it is at 3.5%. I havent seen this sort of CTR since we were allowed to place images next to the google ads!.

My eCPM has gone up slightly but not by 300% like my CTR has - would you suspect invalid clicks? Do you think I have been click bombed? Has google changed anything in the last few days that could result in these clicks? Anyone else seen an upturn?

Thanks for any suggestions you send my way :)

Not such a great jump in CTR to be considered as invalid i think...1% to 2% it's almost the same...and so 3%.
I don't think you need to worry. :)

for some funny reason, visitor behavior changes from one day to another. i would not worry about going from 1% to 3%. i have a site that gets about 7% CTR on average and today so far its 0%. nothing to be worried about

Ok, maybe 500 clicks are probably a bit much. :p
Do you have increase in traffic?
Can you check logs to see more details?
If not, just report to Adsense to be safe... ;)

Have you changed anything with the ads? color? placement? have you added any new keywords to one or all of your site pages?
