BEWARE of this scammer! Here it is the 13 of March- still don't have this site transferred to me. He made many promises- empty promises were all they were. I lost $950 on this guy. BTW, this isn't the first time- check this out:

I always hate to hear about things like this. How did you pay PayPal? If so, is there a better way when buying a site?

    Well-live and learn...
I 'charged' his credit card. I really thought everything was on the up-and-up. We emailed numerous times, and he was right there with all the answers to my questions.
So- I have learned that, from now on I will use an escrow service. that way the money doesn't go away until everyone is satisfied.

    Looks like a cheap knock-off of Prosper.com

To develop a website like this that will do what its SUPPOSED to do would cost thousands of dollars (I'm a PHP programmer, I know how long this stuff takes).

    Although, the domain is nice...

BEWARE. This website is either NOT fully developed, or doesn't work properly. You need everything from Bank Account wire scripts to SSN checking, etc to run a website like this. There's no way he has this working..

Buyer was given website information and domain name exact same day of purchase. As stated in the ad hosting was given free for one year. I am not responsible site transfer to a new server but tried to oblige the buyer. With this being the case I have to do so on my time schedule. This was not any scam.

    Alfred-
Then why did you say (REPEATEDLY) that you would transfer the files "by the end of this week", "by the end of today" etc? You know that I don't have the login/pw for bizhost.in, so there is no way I can work on the site. You are in the web-business- you know there is NOTHING I can do until you transfer the files. I can't even transfer it to my host! You took my money, (even the $200 for the 3rd party software...) and now have not followed through. It has been since the 16th of January! Please- tell me how you "tried to oblige" me? I have been asking you for WEEKS to simply transfer the files so I can work on the site. And you have been promising. So: either it is a scam, or you don't care a rip about your customers after you get their money. How long would it take to transfer the files? Probably less time than it has taken you to read/ignore/answer my emails, pm's and phone calls.
Do you remember these posts from SP dated March 7?

    "Hello Joel,

I will have the server transfer complete by tomorrow morning.

    Alfred

Or this one from March 2?

    Regards,

    Alfred"

Alfred- I could post several more, but that is not the point. The point is that I want my site in my possession, where I can work on it, and you owe that to me. That is all I want. I don't even care about the $200 that I sent you that was for the credit check software.

    Joel

Yes, you are correct. But, I am very interested in the site and developing it. That is why I am eager to get the files transferred, so that I can go to work on it.
Incidently- IF I get the files (which is doubtful, now...:() I will need a PHP programmer- interested?
