The winner of the contest will be a logo that looks professional, is brandable and good to use in a variety of situations.

Hey bro, just a friendly advice, get out of the stage where u use every single photoshop effect. Stay away from bevel and shadow effects, doesn't look good. Logo should be as clean as possible. Anyways, best of luck. Some good entries here.
Ok time for some feedback. While this isn't badly drawn it's not the kind of thing I'm after. The happy character and colour scheme would fit a childrens site better than an adult/teen one imo. This one is a little closer to the mark. My main criticism is that if I'm going for this kind of design I think I would like it to be a little more distinctive + perhaps more sleek and less colourful (see Master.A's entry for a good example). Again not bad, this is definitely a passable logo. I'm not very keen on the fonts used however + don't think that is quite the kind of TV I am after, is it clipart?
Those are looking good! I really love this character that you've created! After having a long hard think about it I think that a cleaner looking logo will suit the site better (rather than the sketchy style used here). Also just a quick note, I think the text would look better without the gradient. Saying all that this is actually one of my favourite logos, I just don't think it's quite right for the site. This is pretty good for a clear/bold style. I'm not 100% sure about the brown colour, would have to try it out, but yeah not a bad entry at all.
Sorry if anyone feels I've been negative to them in my feedback, I'm just trying to be as honest as possible so that everyone knows what I'm after. My favourites still are: This is a masterpiece! Funny + very well drawn. The one thing that puts me off it however is that how good it would look if I wanted to use a small version of the logo/mascot as it might be difficult to see what's going on. This is the best entry for a clean/modern web2.0 style so far + it really does look good when shown at the top of the page. I think it really suits the style of the site so this is a very strong competitor. A different style but again a very strong competitor. The mascot brilliant, he's cute but with an edgy style + doesn't seem too childish. Would look great with a santa hat on around xmas too! As I mentioned previously I plan on ending the contest tonight. I originally said 10pm GMT but I think it'll be later on tomorow (friday) that I get around to picking a winner so don't worry about what time you submit by. If you're worried about the contest ending while you're still working on it just let me know and I'll hold off judging till it's done.
