Hey, Do you have any tips on how I can get WWE Divas ranked for the search term "WWE Divas" on Google? I've put the link in my signature on a few forums with that anchor text. Help is appreciated
You need more backlinks with the search term WWE Divas linking back to your domain. Try doing article submissions or blog postings.
Every time I've made a topic like this, I've mentioned backlinks and then everyone that replies says "You need more backlinks" I know that, I'm asking for OTHER tips... Thanks.
Tried your link - page not available? Had a look at the Google cache from feb 27 - the only thing the cache shows is a picture, no text at all.
There's more to it than backlinks. Your on-page optimization doesn't seem to be adequate. If your goal is to be number 1 in google with the term wwe divas and you feel that your homepage is appropriately desribed by that term, then you need to hammer the page with that keyword combination everywhere. I see you have it in the title, but the page itself needs it everywhere. Top left of the homepage - if you have in big bold letter WWE Divas, that is a start. Literally embolden it, because it puts an H1 tag in the html code that signifies to Google that it is an important term on the page. Then use that keyword combo every chance you get all over the page, but don't use it to the point that it doesn't make sense to a reader of the page. If I owned this site and wanted it number 1 in google for wwe divas, i would hammer the page with that keyword everywhere possible. I would probably change the title to just WWE Divas too, because keyword density is a factor, and if your title is, in its entirety, the exact term that someone is searching for (wwe divas), then you will improve your odds of google ranking you at the top.
OK something else to consider and yes it does relate to back links. (no bad comments please) Sending too many back links with the same anchor text will hurt you. Yes there is a certain term you want to rank for, but Google wants natural linking. It is not natural to have everyone linking to your site with exactly the same anchor text. I have had sites that when I got more links, my rankings went down, because too may links of the same thing. This especially happen when I added my link to a footer sitewide. So alternate the anchor text, use long tail versions and shorter versions. Only exchange links when content is identical, googles opinion of related links is not the same as ours. My opinion only
The site is not loading again. Where is your site hosted, on your home computer? That said, let me repeat what's been said thousands of times already: Get more backlinks.
Not to sound negative or anything, just giving some advice, but I expect if you do manage to get to the top of Google for WWE Divas, you'll going to immediately get some cease and desist letters from WWE for using their images on your website, especially when you're putting your own link over their pictures like you own it. They're notorious about that kind of thing. The further you get up Google, the more likely it is they're going to find you. Playboy too for that matter.
