Hosting Question?

    I'd like to buy a hosting service, what not sure what kind of it suitable for me.

    if for a flash game site with 3000 Unique visitors daily, what kind of spec should I get?

    for example, what kind of bandwidth, space, and etc...

    thanks for anyone who can help:)

    Flash can be on linux or windows based server, you can go for those with linux as it is normally cheaper, bandwidth depends on visitors, 50 GB/mth shd be more than sufficient. Space can be minimal as such games do not take up a lot of space.

    It really depends on your games, visitors. But with 3K unique visitors per day, you can be fine with shared hosting. Review your disk space, and find out a good host can provide you that. Bandwidth can be upgraded easily

    Do you have any script for managing your games? Do you want on a Linux or Windows platform?

    If you have a decent budget, I might would go with a managed VPS. You could probably fit on a shared plan, but with a VPS you'd get root access, and not have to worry about being suspended.

    You could always start out with a shared plan and as your site grows move it to a VPS.
