Well, here's my list of wires that offer free press release service. I have tried to submit to all of them and I should say the results vary. Press releases can give you some initial traffic and provide a couple of backlinks. Although these services will not promote your site to the level you may expect, I still think it is a good idea to submit a press release on the event of launching a new site or any other major event. If you are in hurry submit just to: #4., 6., 7., 8., 10. and 13. I would like to see your comments, suggestions and perhaps success/failure stories. Thanks for the list. I'm going to check it out. However, I can already see some wires that were free but are not free any more. This is a problem with some newsletter submitters. Once they get popular they start to charge you lots of dosh
Thank you for your list. I made an update on my list, consulted some of my pals involved in submitting releases and wrote a post about it. I would gladly paste it here but then it's duplicate content. That's why I will be naughty to post a link to the article. So here it is: Free Press Release Sites.
Another 2 press release sites to add to the list: http://www.pressreleasespider.com http://www.techprspider.com
Wow, that's a lot. Thanks. BTW, are they all free sites? Because I've seen some press release sites requiring some money for the submission at the end. D:
thank you all for contributing this is a awesome list I'm about to start writing ( has a lot of writing a head ) "Can see a man's work is never done" lol
