I would venture to guess that it is another senseless post to increase post counts, 21 words in 4 posts exactly for the OP.
If a .in were to sell for more than a .com has in the past, it SIGNIFICANTLY raises the value of the .com (.net as well for that matter). Of course this is assuming that the domain is not a bs one like heldsgkjfskdfskfjegkdfsd.in.

I do think it's possible that a .in sold for more than a .com, if the .in domain name had an indian keyword that would be more niche to the .in extension than .com
