I would venture to guess that it is another senseless post to increase post counts, 21 words in 4 posts exactly for the OP.

This is completely nonsense. Even the three letter .in domains were sold out just two months back

In any case .com still far outnumber .in, go and try to monetize a .in anyway.

If a .in were to sell for more than a .com has in the past, it SIGNIFICANTLY raises the value of the .com (.net as well for that matter). Of course this is assuming that the domain is not a bs one like heldsgkjfskdfskfjegkdfsd.in.

I can believe that. For example:

RealEstate.in can sell for more than a3d1.com ;)

Then why on earth did you just start a random topic on a different forum hoping that we'll take ourselves to namepros and search for the thread? What a pointless post and a huge waste of time!

Next time, post a link or the actual names used.

I do think it's possible that a .in sold for more than a .com, if the .in domain name had an indian keyword that would be more niche to the .in extension than .com

It's true all .in sell for more then .com ...when they are new:
    .in $9.99
    .com $5.99
    :)
