Because, I've been refunded. Again, since google is very secretive, I'm not sure they refund for all advertisers in all scenarios. Just like most other publishers and advertisers, I'd also like more disclosures from G! But, Google has the freedom to decide its own terms Publishers have the right to move on to other programs Isn't freedom such a wonderful thing?
I'd be more interested to see what happened to the earnings of those who avoided getting involved with a boycott for a day than anything.
Ah well mate.. nothing to worry about and, thats not a case of smartpricing. That may be invalid clicks.
I definitely encourage you guys to boycott Google for as long as you feel you can manage... More money for me! Seriously, about these sites where you feel you are getting short-changed: Are they genuinely useful sites? If you were searching for some information and you came to one of these sites, would you be happy? Would your questions be answered? Honestly? Are they the most informative sites in the space? Almost every time I hear someone complaining about their treatment by Google, it turns out the site in question is MFA or close to it. It is not in Google's long-term interest to encourage the proliferation of these cruddy sites. It clogs up their database and degrades the quality of their search users' experience.
It's a lame idea. You'll piss off Google's advertisers which means less money for you. If you have a problem with something that is happening, frame your criticism constructively and you'll be surprised how easy it is to get an equally constructive response. But whine and flay about like a child, and you'll just get spanked.
If all the people on these forums boycotted adsense there are still thousands of publishers who would still be running ads.
