    Hi everyone
I've been getting strange emails on one of my site's admin email account. They're all asking me to delete them from our "subscribers" list, one guy was really pissed and said he had requested 3 times to be removed but he keeps receiving spam from us. The thing is, we have NEVER sent spam of any kind to ANYONE, ever. Could my email account have been hacked? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Your definition of "spam" and the rest of your community's definition can be two very different things. Maybe you should set up a test email so that you can monitor things like this.

But we don't even send emails of any kind, we don't even have a newsletter! But people keep getting emails from us.

Solve this problem because it could get you some court problems. Success.

Yes, this seems odd, delete and/or spam all emails related to that topic, and change your password...or start from scratch, you've been hacked.

You most likely paid for one of those scam type "Submit your site to over 1 million search engines" - and what is happening is the result.

If you didn't participate in such a service, it may have been something similar. Take my advice and stay away from them.

Someone is probably hacking into your account and sending spam to your subscribers.
