Adsense on Amazon Sites. Good Idea?

I have seen some AOM sites with Adsense on them, and some without. I have 2 AOM stores, and I put Adsense on one of them to see if it worth it.

My opinion is that (personally I don't dig adsense too much) I don't want to send people away from my store to by a similar product at a competing site.

What do you guys think, and what do you employ on your AOM sites?

nope.. it will distract the buyer,, if you want to get them to buy from amazon, don't give them a link to go somewhere else...

    Yes, use both.

If someone finds your site via a search engine, they are likely to click a relevant ad, trying to find what they are looking for, giving you money through adsense.

If they find that your site has the product, then they will purchase it.

    You win either way.

My experiences are totally different. While you'll see quite alot of clicks, sales will go down, which is especially bad with higher priced products. Never seen the income generated by the adsense clicks make up for the sales lost this way.

Well its all up to the niche you are in. A lot of websites do not put AdSense on because they feel that it will steal the clicks and sales from Amazon but many still put AdSense on and argue that their income from Adsense cover the loss from sales :S

I have ever use both AOM and aStore. From my experiment aStore is better than AOM because its free. no need to invest and no limit usage/day :D

but aStore look very basic and cannot put adsense. If you can make money with adsense in aStore. It's perfect, right?

Below link is my tool. I just develop it and really need your help to review. any comment or ideas, please let me know. Thanks.
