Your statements contradict one another. First you said you believe you relinquished the rights to Zelune.net owner, next you say you don't believe you even sold the rights and even accused Steve (the owner of Zelune.net) of registering zelune.net and attempted to claim it as his own. You know that is not true at all!

You sold Steve the full rights of Zelune including the domain Zelune.net. The very reason why we decided to change to a brand new domain PhPhantom.com and release the new proxy script is simply because we foresee the unexpected circumstance of you taking over Zelune.com again after we re-make the whole zelune on release under Zelune.net thus stealing away Zelune.net credibility and traffic.

Shame on you! Bah! Now we know why you did not want to sell Steve the .com though you have relinquished Zelune rights and Zelune.net to him for a hefty price.

I'm sorry but you're wrong. At no point in time did I ever own Zelune.net, whoever owns it now registered it on their own in an attempt to claim it. Check the registrant history.

If I sold the rights to Zelune to "Steve," or whoever, I most certainly did not own Zelune.com at the time. I still don't own Zelune.com, I just have the name servers pointed to my hosting account, because I talked it over with the current owner.

I said I "believe" in the first place, because I was unsure if I did or not.

This is getting interesting. You are saying you are the original owner of Zelune but you do not own Zelune.com right now? Can you elaborate and explain that please.

If you make a new script you should probably just release it under a new name. It would make it a lot less confusing.

Whoever has what rights or whatever. It would still be less confusing.

For me the best proxy is.... a php script that uses a squid server proxy, that would be great, the web interface should use squid proxy to run.

I've began development on the backbone already. I'm still looking to get a little more insight from the users on here before I set a date. :)

lets clear somethinks upZELUNE PROXY SCRIPT

    Script author:
    Antonio Giorlando
    Collin Raithe

zelune.net was sold mpcovcd of sitepoint the date was about Oct 19, 2007, Milov Patel was the reg owner of the zelune.net domain name

Steve tryed to buy zelune.com but the owner wanted a lot more then steve could pay

now zelune.net is owned by steve check out the who is was brought from sitepoint a while back with full rights to the script

Now because steve and his team want to re do the script with some help from www.webproxytalk.com he has a new name www.phphantom.com To stop this sort of think happening

as so far steve and his team have worked over 80 days on this script and it will be the best for free as all mods for the script will be free
And yes is plays yourtube great.

Now get one think clear zelune was the frist to use curl the other all coped zelune Now
Steve at phphantom has changed so much of the script it now total dif it still uses curl and now php5 is needed to run but will work as fast as the old script but with so much new features there at the moment 10 proxy scripts that are out there some are phpproxy just tarted up and some are zelune with some new bits and the newest one seams a good script and the oweners and coders hae done well.

But i belive the phphantom will beat them on a lot of thinks and be the same on some. So to the person that thinks steve just brought the zelune and said the script was his
Steve as allways said he was the new owner of zelune and not his work.

But the phphantom is all his and his team work which will be on ready very soon.

And i have read all the posts and you say you never had the .com or the net domain

so you have never had any right to the zelune script what so ever as if you look back the zelune script started out as just a proxy then changed in to a free script for al proxy users.

BUT GOOD LUCK ON NEW PROXY I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU WANT TO BUY ZELUNE.NET THEN MAKE A OFFER AND ILL PASS IT ON i NO STEVE VERY WELL.

I understand that to make things smoother data is mirrored, but I think it should constantly check for updates or give an option to delete the specific page or site from cache and get fresh data, I rarely use proxies so sorry if this is already widely available:p but whenever I've used proxies they dont show updates so have to keep changing proxy rather than sticking to one

I'm getting tired of people coming into my thread talking about PHPhantom. I'm also getting tired of people getting confused about Zelune.com and Zelune.net.

Here it is, for the final time; I registered Zelune.com as the first owner and sold it to Nick Berlette (my partner.) He teamed up with Colin Palmer and offered the script for free. Nick Berlette is now teamed up with me, and we are going to be releasing a new version for free. Zelune.net was not in any way ever affiliated with Zelune.com, nor have I ever owned it or had anything to do with it. Whether the owner of Zelune.net has the rights to the script or not, I am releasing a new version of Zelune on ZELUNE.COM, which he will NOT have the rights of.

One with a very good javascript parser. It would be require an insane amount of regex though.

You should make it so it can parse flash like the new CGIProxy!!! That would immediately make it a good script.

haha I knew you were going to say that.

Ya but that uses perl. Perl is a real programming language not a server side language so it is capable of anything really. Its far superior to PHP.
