How many domain do you know with a hyphen, that an established website?

I found a domain name I want, it was taken, but the registrar is a heavy taster. Hopefully it will get deleted.

The domain is two words, the hyphen one isn't taken. Feb. 12th is the registrar last chance to return the domain, so if they do keep it I will go with the hyphen. I justed what to know how many domains you know with a hyphen in it, is an established website

Ups. Can anyone tell me, my domain has two hyphens. I've thought that G recognizes words separated by hyphens, as separate words. Will I have any chance to get a good ranking with two hyphens?

Smart decision to buy it. I mean, what do you have to lose? Like 10 bucks?

There are plenty of sites with a hyphen, the only thing is it might be a bit hard to remember for others. I don't think hyphens are that bad.

There are a number of sites out there with a hyphen but be prepared to lose traffic to the non-hyphenated one. Plus a hyphen will kill the value of the name. I would suggest just to wait for the taster to drop it & hopefully they'll drop the name.

does the hypen make a difference if you're only looking for search engine traffic and PPC revenue?
