Does Google consider advertising on BackPage dot com paid links?

I have been advertising on BackPage dot com for a while (over a year) - Does Google consider this paid links?

 

how has that worked out for you? what section?

 

Is that a free classifieds ads site? I don't think google may detect that as paid links as far as i know, there's a lot of free classifieds ads site over the net and no one of them get banned or something.

 

IMO paid links will hurt only if you sell them, as a buyer they can bring no value but I doubt they can hurt

 

Do they use no follow tag?

 

angilina Is that really matters.......! I think what swimbum should take care of is avoid giving irrelevant links to other sites from his own...
