A 16-year-old girl has given birth to triplets for the second time in a case which has stunned doctors and caused outrage in Argentina.The girl, named only as Pamela, had a second set of female triplets earlier this month after giving birth to her first set at the age of 15 in July 2006. She had her first child, a boy, when she was just 14. All seven children were born prematurely but without any kind of fertility treatment. While doctors say the three newborns and their mother are well, the case has sparked debate across Argentina. The girl, who turns 17 on Monday, and comes from the town of Leones in the province of Cordoba, has received help from local authorities, including the building of a house for the family on some donated land. Pamela's mother, Magdalena, 49, who works as a cleaner to support her grandchildren, said: "When we knew that we would again have triplets we wanted to die. She has no job, the father of the triplets left and I am the sole breadwinner for her and her family." lol, 7 kids at the age of 17... It is not only her life, she is also affecting other people who have to help her with both money and other things. She should think of them also....
There are 7 other innocent lives in the equation now. Does church, society or government have a moral responsibility to pick up the slack when a mother is irresponsible or incapable? What price should the mother pay for that imposition?
Well, the Catholic Church didn't want her to learn about birth control and they didn't want her to be educated about sex, so this is what happens. Yes, she was irresponsible, but it's hard to say how ignorant she was about her actions. Did she know at age 14 how people became pregnant? I know I did, but I also live in a part of the world that is not dominated by the church.
In this case i think the mother should try to find help to stop her daughter from having more kids. Not sure what she can do but the 7 kids are the ones who suffer when she can not afford them.
You feel the same if she is 9? Get a clue man. This is not about giving birth, it is about a child giving birth. She has her first at 14.
