I absolutely believe a) .info domains are excellent for generic information portal type pages making them perfect for Parking, and b) if developed with real consumer value in mind they will have a 100X ROI

Personally I don't care for .info, unless its purpose is to be an informational site.

.info falls behind .com, .net, .org, and even .tv. I buy .info usually if none of the aforementioned is available.

That's just how I look at it.

    is .info worth the money?

All domains are becoming more scarce. So, perhaps.

Agreed. And if the term relates to the .info extension, it's actually one of the best IMO.

.TV is one of the worst IMO. It doesn't suit many domains/sites.

selling just the .info domain isn't worth much but if you make a really good site and sell it with the domain then you'd get more value

I buy a lot of domains. Mostly in the aftermarket. I buy only .coms.

When I do look for unregistered, .info is rarely considered. Most everything beyond .com is.

I should've worded my post above to reflect how I look for names, as opposed to stating that .info falls behind other domains.

It is simply how I personally look at what extensions are available when a domain name is searched on.

If a .info is appropriate for your usage, there is no reason not to own it.
