Casino Banner on blog - Ok with Google?

I received a tempting offer by an online poker website to place their banner on my site. I'm worried I might get de-indexed by Google.

What do you think? Should I accept or reject it?

Yes, it is allowed under Google SE, but not allowed under Google Adsense.

 

It's allowed, but adult and casino stuff are often considered bad neighborhood, so I'd skip on this offer...especially if your site isn't related to casinos and you may get caught for link selling as well.

 

As long you don't use google Adsense on your blog is fine or else you can lose your adsense account.

 

Depend on the theme if you also cover that niche without using adsense, I don't think it is bad.

Yup I do have adsense on my blog. A friend suggested to make it a no-follow tag but I bet the advertiser won't let it. I decided not to put the banner, it's not my niche, I only have a few paid post about poker.

Check your Webmaster Tools account, and Yahoo backlinks - do you see links listed which are 'nofollow'? Me too. Google knows everything, it just doesn't apply the weight of a nofollow link.

 

using Nofollow Links is a great idea as it dont pass Links juice and this is best ... Its safe !!
