Problem Using AdWords

    Hey Everybody,

I just signed up for AdWords about 3 days ago. I got my domain, web hosting, website uplooad, etc. I have roughly 75 - 100 keywords pertaining to my ad.

But, I uploaded all of those keywords about 2 hours ago. I did them all exact match.

It's an adult ad, and one of my keywords is "adult awards". Yet, that one, nor any of my other keywords are "showing". It says

    "Ad showing?
    No
The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads.
There are several possible reasons your ad isn't showing for this keyword, such as:

    * You just added the keyword to your campaign. You may experience a short wait as your keyword goes through the review process.
    * Our server is experiencing a delay.
    * Your ad delivery is being spaced throughout the day.

    Quality Score:

    Minimum bid is $0.05

I don't understand that. Why wouldn't the keyword phrase trigger my ads? I mean, I decide what keywords I want my ad to show up - this isn't google's decision, right?

    What's going on?

    THank you!

    Help please

you campaign has to go through a manual review process which could take 1 week - 1 month for approval. You are bidding on adult related terms and Google investigates everyone in those markets before allowing then to advertise.

Very touchy area trying to push an adult site on Google. I've never tried so I'm not sure how that works and It may be against Google's policy.

Either way, 30-40 keywords per ad is too many and Google will penalize you with quality score issues. Remember, be as relevant as possible with your ad groups making sure your keyword is related to your ad and the other way.
