What Happens when You Die?

Just curious to see what everybody believes in. No flaming/religious arguements please, just tell us what you believe.

Apologies for leaving out whatever is included in Muslim or other beliefs (hence the "Other" option). I'm not very familiar with alot of other religions, so please elaborate here

 

When you die, you die.

Agree. However I believe that the essence "spirit" of your life will go on for eternity. Meaning energy has to go somewhere....

 

So where was it before you were born?

 

easy, some of your energy (basically molecular bonds holding molecules together goes to the microorganisms and little bugs that eat you up, some goes to the soil and atmosphere (in the form of gases and minerals) and some vanishes as residual heat. a spirit, sort of.

 

It just ends. Nothing happens to you, your "spirit", etc.

 

Your soul goes back to the place where it came from/was created for further processing and recycling.

 

you go back to your last save point.

 

after you die, where you can go? depend on your deed at past. The last idea in your mind is very important . It is the cause to the next life. Normally, if you are angery, you will go to the hell. If you are greedy, you will become a hangery ghost.If you are happy, you will go to heaven. If you are happy and only have Amitabha(Buddha) in your mind , buddha will come to pick up you to Paradise(Amitabha's country)

 

When you die, your soul goes into a state of prolonged Hibernation, until the Judgment Day, when all the souls would be resurrected. Then every Human will know what he has done.

There would be a Life Balance Sheet, which would record Good Deeds and Evil Deeds. You will be awarded place in Heaven according to your net worth.

And if your Net worth is negative, you go to hell, until you become credit-worthy again.

 

I guess we go to another universe which is in different dimensions and hence we fail to communicate with people living in earth, else millions of people reaching heaven everyday could have easily communicated back with peoples living in earth or for that matter with NASA ,etc.

 

There are 11 Dimensions, and Quantum Physics says, here are infinite parallel Universes.

"INFINITE PARALLEL UNIVERSES! "

All these parallel Universes make up the Multiverse...

So, is there really a soul?

When anyone dies nothing happens to him,the thing that remains here is only his body.I don't know about spirit or any other unseen things.
I only know anyone dies many thing happen to his near ones.

I'll post the rest another day... right now I'm trying to find a matching sock so I can go somewhere.

When I die, my organs get recycled, and my personal wealth is confiscated.

It's a bad deal.

The Egyptians did it right. They got buried with their treasure and their organs were preserved in canopic jars.

I think when you die, you are dead, you don't live another life.

 

When you die you are one less consumer in this world and one less competitor for the other 6+ billion to worry about.
