I think the fact that AGS and gworld haven't voted for Libya shows that they don't hate the U.S. as much as they pretend.

If I had any need for my kids to have surgery I would be most comfortable with surgeons in the USA.

I think the fallacy of the USA having a bad health care system is the democratic view that we should get "health care" for free. Then we could be like Canada and be put on a year long waiting list with an expected death in 6 months.

Our "health care" is backwards in many ways. People are trained at a young age to go to a doctor for everything like a sniffle - oh no I got a cold I must see a doctor! Everyone looking for a quick fix instead of accountability. I drink too much and now my liver is shot - you should buy me a new one! I eat sooooo much I weigh 400 lbs, you should remove my fat and part of my stomach so I won't eat as much! I drink diet coke daily and my whole system is shot, I am diabetic, you should pay for my daily doctor visits.

I took my wife in yesterday because of vertigo. She had it a couple days before we took her in and had to pay $150 to sit around and wait about 3 hours between nurses and doctor. This was at an immediate care facility (not an emergency room) Of course they couldn't do much for her, but some tools they have that I don't allow them to see what may be wrong.

I definitely concur with your assessment.

You should catch the videos on health care at Free Market Cure.

The pissed off Canadians are hilarious -- lucky to be alive but still hilarious. :D

As AGS mentioned, your poll is stupid. Add Canada, Sweden, Holland, Swiss, Belize,..... to do the poll and then watch the result.

The first city from USA is placed at 27th place.

Germany isn't as great as you think Gworld

More than 25.4 percent of the German population qualify as poor because they earn less than than 70 percent of the median annual income of 16,000 euros

In Prenzlau the capital of the northeastern Uckermark region in former East Germany one in four unemployed. A study by the Eurostat institute published last month has shown that the GDP per capita here is 74 percent of the average figure for the European Union, compared to 115.2 percent for Germany as a whole.

Purchasing power in Prenzlau is lower than in the Czech Republic and certain parts of Romania and the fact is tangible on the main street, Friedrichstrasse, where shirts sell for one euro (1.55 dollars) and jackets for four euros.

I know about Europe, I have lived there and I am in Europe right now, how about you?
It still doesn't change the fact that the first city from U.S.A in the list of best cities to live in, comes at 27th place.:)

Rather live regardless of which one I was in. Alternative sorta sucks.

I’m living in the Bahamas, I’ll have to say Libya, I love American music though :D, but “coincidently”, I cant get along with a lot of Americans, the economy isn’t too well either, and the most weirdest election candidates (no offense). The culture is awesome nevertheless, hope one day I could visit there again, pop music, warm clothing, good recognition of sports and fast food = NICE. If permanently, I'll say America, but I'd stay in Libya for the time being. I love to see bikinis, but I have too much pride.
