$100 fun logo contest - Addicting TV

Hey everyone!

This is a $100 logo contest for my new video and games website called addicting.tv. I'm looking for something that will fit nicely with the site design / colours, be distinctive and most of all look cool!

It's a fun site so feel free to create a cartoony TV mascot if you think it will work. If you take that route don't make it look too childish though as the site is more aimed at teenagers/adults. I don't hate the current logo it just doesn't fit quite right now + if you want to try improving on it that's fine. Or ofcourse try something from scratch, as long as it looks cool I'm interested

I haven't set a deadline yet, basically I want to run it until there have been a decent amount of entries + everyone has had a chance at a few revisions so I'm thinking about a week. If you're worried about the comp ending before your entry is ready just let me know that you've got one coming.

These are pretty good my favourite is the top left - nice and simple + I like the tv I can't put my finger on it but it doesn't quite fit on the site right now, a different shade of blue and/or font may help to make it feel like part of the site.

This looks good but it's not quite what I'm after. I would prefer something with simpler - easier to read text and perhaps a more distinctive looking tv.

Some great entries! Unfortunately the colours seem to match the "logos I like" sites better than my own + the text styles are very similar too. Other than that I like them + with some revisions to address those problems these could be some strong entries. My favourite is number 2

This one made me LOL, that is one creepy-ass TV! The colours of the TV nicely match the greys/reds on the site too, good job! . As for criticism I'm not very keen on the font used + I think the colour of the text could do with tweaking.

Sorry but I'm looking for something unique + don't want any clipart. The winner needs to draw their own logo.

This one is nicely finished - good use of gradients and shadows. Is the TV clipart? I don't think the orange quite goes with the site is it possible to tweak the colours?

It looks nice but it's not really the kind of thing I'm after. I'm not very keen on this style of mascot.

The mascot on these isn't quite what I'm after either. This mascot looks like he has a silly personality wheras if I were to choose a personality for a mascot I'd prefer something like cute, scary or devious !

So you can see the kind of colours I've used, the logo will need to compliment those. I just checked your update, your first one is my favourite out of the 2.
