LOL. The only way I'd say there's "no need" for original content is if you have a domain with type-in.

Even so, I still suggest original content.

 

It is easy enough to find someone to pay to write the content for you.

Try ranking with some low quality duplicate content and see how much traffic you will get.
No need to setup a domain and installing a CMS. I will tell you - 0 (zero).

Well depending on the ebook, he could mean that you dont need to write your own content you can use other peoples and refer to them. his passage doesnt say anything about stealing or ripping content.

Not true, stealing others content will bring no good. You will see zero traffic from search engines.

Actually, you can see some good results from it. Not saying I ever have done it, but I know people who have.
