If you do not have this then what can be expected on other latest technologies from you and what we can expect from you as far as latest upgradations and updates of scripts, software and other things are concerned.

we keep all of our technologies up to date when they are stable. migrating php to a new version can cause enourmous problems for sites which are coded on previous versions. upgrading php can be a very delicate situation in order to not cause any problems.

we, simply, can't upgrade our server to php5 for your site alone. sorry to inform you of this.
