    Hi

Yesterday, I purchased domain name for my friend ( he doesn't have Credit Card) on Godaddy. How can I transfer this domain to my friend - to web hosting he plans to use?

I don't want to own this domain, so basic question is how can I give this domain name?

Thank you. Any help will be much appreciated

    Thanks Nihangshah.

I'm sorry but what is email ID? So basically my friend must have an account on GoDaddy so that I can transfer him this domain name?

Yes, your friend must have a Godaddy account, to transfer a domain name.

Email ID = Email Address .

Your friend do not need a GoDaddy Account. If he does not have one, it would be automatically be created when you transfer a domain name to him.

Incidentally, the place where your friend host his website does not need to be the same place he registered or transfer his domain name to. It is best to keep them separate so if anything happens, you can change web host easily and not be trapped to that one web host.

You have only to modify Registrant Info and that's it :)
Transfer will cost you 1 year renewal fee.
    Registrant Modification is free :D

Typically transfer on the same registrar to another individual is free. Transfer to another registrar costs a renewal fee.
