hi there mates,i have the same problem as before about verifying my EON CARD on paypal. 1.i have a verified EON DEBIT CARD 2.i have already enrolled in unionbankph.com on EONACCOUNT section but when im trying to verify my EON CARD in paypal its still the same problem as before: This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card. someone told me that i should wait 2-3 days after i enrolled in unionbankph.com but its 4 days now and no progress. im getting so very disappointed with this problem. anyone experience this problem? anyone can help me please?? tnx in advance
Be patient. If they asked you to wait 2-3 days, that usually means you'll wait for 2-3 weeks. Have you used the card on an ATM yet? Some of them require you to activate the card.
^ Are you really 100% sure your EON visa is already "verified"? How did you verified it? Have you tried the ATM verification enrollment?
yah im very sure that my EON visa is already verified coz i can check my balance at the teller machine.and its almost half a month when i purchase this one and i already tried the ATM verification enrollment.i enrolled almost 2 weeks ago. how did u get ur 4-digit number?? did you call the unionbank costumer service to get the 4-digit to be put in paypal??
Yes, I got the 4-digit number from unionbank customer service. You just mention that you need your Paypal Expanded Use code and they will mention that over the phone.
btw do i need to get the 4 digit first in union bank before i verify my paypal??where will i put the 4 digit??
No, you go through the verification process by joining the Expander Use program then Paypal will charge your debit card US$1.95 and then you call Union Bank and ask for the number before entering it back to Paypal. See my previous post, I posted the step by step provided by Union Bank on what to do.

You have to wait. Their main branch is in Cebu. That is where they activate the Visa EON cards. That's why it really takes time.
ow ic.. but my card is activated but why cant i join the expanded program??its almost 2 and a half weeks now since my my EON account was activated
Check if you have sufficient balance on your EON card and secondly recheck with PayPal if the EON cards are accepted
i have P150 in my account @eddy yah i contact unionbank this afternoon.they said i must try it again till tomorow and if my problem is not solve i will contact them again.hope my EON card will be fix tomorow
I had no problems getting the same EON and debit card. It has the same account and it was smooth sailing for me. That bank is good and maybe what was wrong was PP. They always were. If you already have the account number, that shouldn't be a problem. You should call paypal about this and wait a month before they respond..My advice, try to have a different account..
