    How does analytics work on conversion and keyword tracking? Do you place pixels on various pages of your landing pages etc?

    And do you need a separate analytics account for each landing page you use?

    Thanks!

    Wow... only 15-40% ROI! I know you said in another thread your numbers had dropped. What is your ROI on your ringtones campaign normally supposed to look like?

    Bounces as high as 250% on my best day to 15% on the worst, in the end it's evened out to about a 100% ROI.

    Hmmm, well I tweaked my campaign a bit so I'm curious to see what happens when it 'goes live' in about an hour.

    Hopefully, I wasn't just being teased by the PPC gods.

    AJ -- Not sure if you read over my post, but I was very curious about how you track campaigns/landing pages.

    Do you place tracking pixel along various steps of your "process"?

    If you have 100 different landing page "chains" do you have 100 different analytics accounts?

    Thanks a lot, and keep working hard... I am :)

    2 conversions so far, not much but its a start!

    Thanks for the info & the motivation

    Does anyone else besides me get the feeling that all these threads like this are fake?

    I mean, it's always the same thing. I made this much and that much and I'll tell you everything except for that "hidden/secret step.:rolleyes:

    I think some people are just looking for attention.:)

    I'm not trying to call anybody out or nothing, I'm just saying.

    Uh, I have forty pages worth of replies to posts in here. Most of the people who posted here that I conversed with are now off on their own utilizing some of the stuff in here - some are making quite a bit, and some are still learning the ropes. And of course I'm not going to tell EVERYTHING I'm personally doing - would you if you were making $50k+ a month?

    Who the hell do you think you are to come in here and say I'm just looking for attention when all I've done was try to help? Maybe you should read the entire thread before being a complete schmuck and posting something like that.

    Some of us actually bust our asses to make a living online, and don't sell links in our Digital Point profiles for $5 a pop to make ends meet.

    Well I finnally re-did my campaign and going full force with this. I got my LP and pages all setup and ready to go. Threw up some targetted niches on the content network and let it rip (I'm not doing cat food this time :p)

    Content network is weird though...it took google like 5 hours before I started even getting any impressions. I'm still not fully sure how exactly it works.

    Due to habit from the search network, i set my inital bids a bit high at $0.40, you think its too high to start out?

    Also, I structured my campaigns differently now. From my uderstanding, since the content network bases each adgroups on "themes" from your keywords, the adgroups really don't have to relate to one another....or do they?

    This is sorta how I currently have it setup (*note that this is NOT how I would ever do my search campaigns*):

    Generic Cat Food Campaign
    -> Cat Food Agroup
    -> Dog adgroup
    -> Car Adgroup
    -> 14 Year Old Girl Adgroup
    -> Baby Adgroup
    -> Weightloss adgroup
    ...
    ... etc

    Would this particular structure work out? Or would I actually have to break each adgroups to different campaigns and structure it so that adgroups are closely related to one another or it'll affect my supposed content network QS?
