All premium L-LL and LL-L.com's were gone on March 5 2008.
Scans show that there are around 7k each left.

    What's your position? Expectations?

LOL, I was just getting ready to post here about these names:)

I think that anyone who regrets not regging a LLLL.com or two, should go ahead and pick up a couple of these names while they last.

These are only three letters and a dash. The dash can be looked at as a space, or just another keystroke. These are great for triple acronyms or two letter abbreviations tied with another word.

Here are some examples of what I've picked up these past couple days:
O-VG = Online Video Guide, Online Video Games
Sn-w = Snow, Social Networking Website
    a-VW = A VolksWagon
u-AC = United Air Conditioning, Users Acount Controll
    Y-LO = Like J-lo but with a Y :)

I like these names alot, there are much less available than 4L.coms and they are the next best thing to 3L.com and L-L-L.coms which are all registered.

    I like U-AC :)

I grabbed a dozen today - picked some nice ones imho.

Some predict that in 4 weeks they'll all be gone.

My position? I don't waste my money on L-LL.com or LL-L.com names as my money could be placed into names that have a lot more potential & return than those type of names.

My expectations? None really for those names.

Not everyone can invest in the same niche, all the names would be gone in a heartbeat.

I'm glad there are naysayers, we need them to keep a healthy balance. I personally see these paying off nicely in 1-3 years.

Domain names are used as an address to direct internet traffic to an established a destination. You can use them as the URL for your website or blog. Or you can point them to your MySpace and other social networking profiles, Ebay listings, online classified ads, or any sort of online promotiong where you need an easy to remember address so people can find your content or service easily.
