Need help hosting clip-chare software

    I'm trying to get my clip-share youtube clone site up and running, and I'm looking for someone that will host a video sharing site. Doees anyone recomend a company that will do this. I use Bluehost for my other site, and they want to charge $175.00 per month. I'm looking for something that is ALOT cheaper than that.

    I could do it if you could get some basic information. I would need a legal document stating that your allowed to stream content on the web. So, basically a video streaming license.

    Kraven, it would depend on how much bandwidth and disk space you are going to use. This would depend on the price. $175/mo isn't bad if you are going to get a dedicated server.

    Where does one get such "legal document?" And what is the governmental issuing body of this "video streaming license?" I don't think youtube has one. Maybe you coud send them a copy of the application form.

    I also think that there is no such legal document. Streaming on the net is different than broadcasting on airwaves.

    i know someone who used to be hosted at crayonhost. downtime is crazy. lots of intermittent connection all the time.
